Felix Polo-Burgos and Lyshell Cora Arrested in Waterbury Drug and Firearm Investigation
WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) – Two individuals were arrested following a police investigation into drug activity in Waterbury on April 25, 2025.
The Waterbury Police Department reported that 20-year-old Felix Polo-Burgos and 26-year-old Lyshell Cora were taken into custody near East Main and Rutledge Streets, a location authorities say is known for drug-related activity.
During the investigation, officers seized over $600 in cash, 27.4 grams of marijuana, a revolver, and various drug paraphernalia.
Polo-Burgos is facing multiple charges, including:
Third-degree trespass
Illegal sale or transfer of a firearm
Carrying a pistol without a permit
Criminal possession of a pistol/revolver
Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
Criminal possession of firearm/ammunition
Meanwhile, Lyshell Cora was found to have an active warrant for disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. She was arrested without incident.
The investigation remains ongoing as police work to combat illegal drug and firearm activity in the area.
