Felipe Martinez Medina Arrested in Fresno for Vehicle Burglaries in Madera County
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. — On Tuesday, September 2, 38-year-old Felipe Martinez Medina of Fresno was arrested after investigators linked him to a series of vehicle burglaries in the Riverstone area of Madera County.
Between August 28 and September 2, deputies received multiple reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles. Stolen items included a firearm, bow releases, grooming tools, a tool kit, vehicle keys, a stereo, and mail, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Surveillance footage captured a black 2008 Ford Edge SUV at the crime scenes. Deputies identified the vehicle as registered to Martinez, who is currently on Post Release Community Supervision for a prior stolen vehicle conviction.
Martinez was arrested in Fresno while driving another stolen vehicle. Search warrants executed afterward uncovered stolen mail from Riverstone and property connected to a separate case in Clovis.
A Madera County arrest warrant has been issued for Martinez, who will face local charges once released from Fresno County Jail.
