Felicia Denise Carver, 52, of Adairsville, was arrested this week after being accused of stealing jewelry from a children’s doctor in Northwest Georgia. Reports indicated that Carver initially claimed she had returned all jewelry belonging to Dr. Raj Miniyar, except for items she had purchased. However, during a search, investigators discovered this statement was false.
Authorities found Carver in possession of over 30 pieces of jewelry that had been taken from Dr. Miniyar. The estimated value of the stolen jewelry is over half a million dollars.
Carver has been charged with theft by conversion and making false statements and writings in connection with the incident.
