BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (FOX26) — A large-scale multi-agency investigation led to the dismantling of a meth lab and the arrest of five people in Bakersfield on Thursday.
Authorities executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Rian Noelle Court, uncovering a meth lab containing 953.9 pounds of methamphetamine, over 2,725 pounds of meth in solution, and numerous hazardous chemicals.
Fausto Zazueta-Beltran, 49, was arrested at the residence. During a related traffic stop on Highway 99, officers also arrested Christian Castro, 29, Kymberly Lopez-Garcia, 22, and Jesus Felix-Castro, 26, seizing an additional 10 pounds of meth.
At another Bakersfield location, Casimiro Violante-Lopez, 46, was taken into custody. He was also wanted in connection with a 2021 KC-HIDTA case involving 53 pounds of meth.
All five suspects face multiple charges, including manufacturing a controlled substance, possession for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, maintaining a residence for drug sales, and conspiracy.
The investigation involved the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, KC-HIDTA Task Force, Special Services Unit, Kern County Probation, and Kern County Environmental Health and Code Compliance, which dismantled the lab.
