FARGO, N.D. – A Fargo woman was arrested on June 21 after allegedly attacking her partner with a kitchen knife during a domestic altercation.
According to court documents, officers with the Fargo Police Department were called to a reported stabbing incident just after midnight. At the scene, they spoke with a man who had a long but shallow laceration down his back, which he claimed was caused by his partner, Naomi Turner, during an argument while drinking together.
The victim said he and Turner had been living together on and off, and she became agitated during the night before slashing him. A neighbor who also lives in the building confirmed the stabbing occurred but downplayed the severity, stating the man was “overreacting.”
Police located Turner inside the residence and arrested her for aggravated domestic assault with a dangerous weapon. She declined to provide a statement but insisted she would “never hurt him.” With her consent, officers searched the apartment and recovered three kitchen knives, which were taken into evidence.
During her arrest, Turner reportedly resisted a search, became combative, and struggled while in handcuffs, forcing officers to restrain her against a squad car before placing her in the back seat. She was ultimately booked without further incident.
Turner now faces charges of aggravated domestic assault, and the case remains under investigation.
