In a follow-up to a major narcotics seizure in Aluva, the Ernakulam Rural police arrested two more individuals on Wednesday (June 11, 2025). The accused have been identified as Faisal, 37, from Kothamangalam, and Nidheesh, 26, from Kuruppampady.
The arrests were made in connection with the recovery of 20 grams of suspected MDMA and 3 kilograms of suspected ganja. Both individuals were taken into custody following a joint operation by the Aluva police and the Ernakulam Rural District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force.
Earlier, Nabin Thankappan was apprehended at the Aluva railway station with the contraband, and investigations are ongoing to identify any additional accomplices in the drug trafficking network.
