Tel Aviv, Israel – Paul Pesker, a 40-year-old former model with a lengthy criminal history, was arrested on Friday for his alleged role in a violent robbery involving 200,000 shekels.
The Heist Disguised as a Delivery
Pesker and an accomplice reportedly posed as Wolt delivery couriers to gain access to an apartment where a club owner was staying. Once inside, they allegedly handcuffed the victim, assaulted him, and forced him to open his safe, stealing 200,000 shekels.
The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he is reported to be in mild condition.
Pesker’s Arrest & Claims of Innocence
Although the two suspects fled the scene, Pesker was quickly apprehended after being caught on surveillance footage trying to dispose of a Wolt-branded bag containing stolen items. Authorities also discovered assault weapons in his possession.
Despite the evidence, Pesker insists he was “in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Investigators are continuing their probe into the heist and possible accomplices.
