EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) has wrapped up three major drug investigations, leading to multiple arrests and the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs, cash, and a firearm. The operations were supported by the Community Safety Payroll Tax, which funds local public safety initiatives.
In the first case, 53-year-old Shay Kale Prim was arrested on October 6 after investigators linked him to drug trafficking activity. Officers observed Prim making brief visits to a residence on Waite Street, prompting a search warrant. Inside, police found five ounces of methamphetamine, two ounces of fentanyl, a small amount of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, and $1,500 in cash. Prim now faces several drug delivery and possession charges, including offenses committed within 1,000 feet of a school.
A second investigation focused on Amber Marie Bradley, who was suspected of selling methamphetamine from her Waite Street home. On September 30, police executed a search warrant and found two ounces of methamphetamine, additional narcotics, and over $300 in cash. Bradley and three others—Alisha Marie Dorgan, Jennifer Ann Brooks, and Dale Corey Doggett—were arrested and charged with various drug-related offenses.
The third case involved Michael Wayne Wesley, under investigation since April 2025. Officers seized a shotgun during the probe and later discovered that Wesley continued to travel to Salem to resupply with narcotics. On October 1, a vehicle search led to the recovery of one pound of methamphetamine and about one ounce of fentanyl. Wesley and his driver, Joshua David Vanbuskirk, were both arrested and face firearm and drug trafficking charges.
These coordinated operations demonstrate the Eugene Police Department’s commitment to reducing drug trafficking and community harm through targeted investigations and proactive enforcement.
