Ethan Quackenbush Arrested for Waterbury Store Robbery

Suspect flees empty-handed after attempted robbery

WATERBURY, Conn. — A 22-year-old man was arrested after allegedly attempting to rob a store on Bank Street in Waterbury, police reported.

Ethan Quackenbush was taken into custody following the incident, which occurred at 8:41 p.m. on November 11. According to authorities, Quackenbush entered the store wearing a ski mask and demanded money while gesturing with his hand as if he had a weapon.

The store worker refused to comply, and Quackenbush fled the scene without taking any items. Police later located and arrested him, confirming that he did not possess a weapon during the incident.

Quackenbush faces several charges, including:

1st-degree robbery

2nd-degree threatening

2nd-degree breach of peace

The Waterbury Police Department continues to investigate, but no further incidents were reported.
