Escambia County Coach Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Kendrick Johnson, a 44-year-old high school coach, was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges including trafficking synthetic narcotics, racketeering, and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
Details surrounding the case have not been released by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Escambia County Public Schools issued a statement to WEAR News but did not comment further.
Johnson was released from jail after posting a $70,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
