A 46-year-old man, Ernest Woycik of Mt. Morris, has been arrested on multiple charges, including sexually assaulting two young children over the past nine years.
Woycik is facing six charges, including four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving victims under the age of 13. If convicted, these charges could result in a life sentence. Additionally, he is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and domestic violence.
According to authorities, Woycik has been assaulting the two children since 2013. Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims.
