BRACEBRIDGE, Ont. — Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Bracebridge Detachment have charged three individuals with drug-related offences following an early morning traffic stop.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. on February 21, 2026, an officer conducting proactive patrols in Bracebridge initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle that drew attention.
As a result of the investigation, Erin Krawetz, 43, of Bracebridge, was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine), operation while prohibited, and driving while under suspension. She is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on May 12, 2026.
Two passengers were also charged. Ashton Carnegie, 27, of Bracebridge, and Robert Meeks, 54, of Washago, each face one count of possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine). Both are set to appear in court in Bracebridge on May 12, 2026.
Police have not released further details regarding the traffic stop.
