EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 45-year-old man was arrested last week in Horizon City following an investigation into theft from his workplace, an auto parts store, the Horizon City Police Department reported.
Erik Lucky Farrias was charged with theft of property and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. He had an outstanding warrant, with bond set at $5,000.
The investigation began on June 24 after the store’s account manager noticed unauthorized activity on the company account. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division later identified Farrias, an employee of the store, as the primary suspect.
On July 21, officers located Farrias at a residence on the 14900 block of Colonia Tierra, where he was taken into custody.
