Erick Garcia Cardoso Arrested After Breaking Into Clinton Business

Man Injured During Burglary at Tapestry on East Carolina Ave

CLINTON, S.C. — Police in Clinton have arrested Erick Garcia Cardoso, 27, following a break-in at a local business where he sustained injuries.

Officers responded to a report of a break-in at Tapestry on East Carolina Avenue. Upon arrival, they found that Cardoso had cut his hand after breaking through the front glass window and door to gain entry.

Emergency personnel transported Cardoso to a hospital for treatment of his injury before he was taken into custody at the Johnson Detention Center.

Cardoso faces charges of second-degree burglary and malicious injury to property. Authorities set his total bond at $30,000.
