Eric Rosenbrook took to his Facebook page on Thursday, July 10, to share the heartbreaking news that his infant daughter, Alisa Eleanor, had passed away the previous day. After spending five days on life support, little Alisa slipped away at 12:53 p.m. Rosenbrook expressed his devastation and requested privacy, stating he would not respond to messages or questions.
“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck. Yesterday at 12:53pm after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom,” he wrote. “I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not answer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”
Rosenbrook’s wife, Leida Margaretha, appeared to deactivate her Instagram account shortly after the tragic news. Before this, she had posted a heartfelt plea for prayers for her daughter, sharing her struggle with suicidal thoughts and a hope for peace.
The tragedy follows reports of Rosenbrook’s arrest over the July 4th weekend in Adams, Wisconsin. He was charged with domestic battery and disorderly conduct after allegedly slapping a woman believed to be Leida while she was holding Alisa. Subsequently, a temporary restraining order was granted on July 7, prohibiting Rosenbrook from contacting Leida and imposing restrictions on alcohol consumption and visits to bars. Rosenbrook pleaded not guilty to the charges on the same day.
