FARMINGTON, NY – A Rochester man has been arrested on felony drug charges in Ontario County after residents at Farmington Court Apartments reported suspicious activity to law enforcement.

Authorities launched a months-long investigation after receiving anonymous tips about drug activity in the area. Investigators identified 35-year-old Eric Gonzalez, tracked the vehicle he used to transport drugs, and pinpointed the apartment where he allegedly conducted drug deals.
Sheriff David Cirencione stated that officers observed Gonzalez engaging in hand-to-hand drug transactions multiple times.
When police executed a search warrant, they discovered:
A large amount of crack cocaine concealed in Gonzalez’s pants
Approximately $2,700 in cash
A digital scale
Additional drugs in Gonzalez’s vehicle
Drug evidence inside the apartment
Charges & Release
Gonzalez was arraigned on a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Despite the charges, he was released from police custody following his arraignment.
