JACKSON, TN – A Jackson man is facing multiple felony drug trafficking charges after a major multi-agency operation led to the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics and cash at a local residence.
On the morning of September 2, 2025, agents from the 26th and 24th Judicial District Drug Task Forces, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), executed a search warrant at a home on Arlington Avenue in Jackson, Tennessee.
During the operation, agents encountered and detained Eric Gilbert, a 41-year-old Black male from Jackson.
Seized During the Search:
77 pounds of methamphetamine
0.25 pounds of cocaine
8 pounds of marijuana
$3,678 in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking
The following day, September 3, 2025, investigators recovered an additional $9,600 in suspected drug proceeds, bringing the total seized cash to $13,278.
Authorities estimate the street value of the drugs seized in this case to be approximately $200,000.
Eric Gilbert has been charged in both state and federal court with multiple felony offenses related to drug trafficking. He is currently in custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
