KANE COUNTY, Ill. – Eric C. Karwowski, 42, of St. Charles Township, is facing multiple felony charges after authorities discovered stolen vehicles, firearms, drugs, and burglary tools at his residence.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on January 3, 2025, at Karwowski’s home on Badger Court, uncovering a large criminal operation. His arrest followed an investigation initiated when a stolen Mercedes-Benz G550 was tracked to his property.

Karwowski turned himself in at the Kane County Sheriff’s Office during the search. A warrant for his vehicle led to additional evidence, including cash in various denominations and electronic devices used for fraud.
He remains detained at the Kane County Jail, with his next court appearance scheduled for February 21, 2025.
