Enfield Police Arrest Six in Holiday Shoplifting Sweep

Operation targets larceny at local stores

ENFIELD, Conn. — Enfield police are intensifying efforts against shoplifting during the holiday season.

On Monday, local officers, with assistance from the Connecticut State Police and store loss prevention teams, conducted an operation at several stores, resulting in the arrest of six suspects.

Hartford residents Adbul-Karriem Mahdee (49), Nathalie Viera (28), and Krista Ambrose (39) of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, were charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Two other Hartford residents, Nayeli Hernandez (23) and Nathalie Rivera (28), face the same larceny charge and additional charges for conspiracy to commit larceny.

A woman from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts is also facing larceny charges and an additional count of interfering with an officer.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the incidents.
