Pinellas Park, FL — A Florida woman was arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly performing illegal dental veneer procedures without a valid license, causing pain and complications for multiple patients.
Emely Martinez, 35, was taken into custody after detectives launched an investigation in June 2025 following complaints from several victims. The patients reported experiencing adverse effects after undergoing veneer procedures administered by Martinez.
Authorities confirmed that Martinez did not hold a valid dental license in the state of Florida. Despite this, she continued to offer cosmetic dental services, leading to both physical and financial harm for her clients.
Police said additional charges could follow as the investigation continues, and they are urging any other potential victims to come forward.
