Elliot Lamb Arrested for Car and Gun Theft in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A man is being held on an $800,000 bond after Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him for allegedly stealing a car and a gun on Wednesday.

Deputies say 43-year-old Elliot Lamb stole a vehicle earlier that same day and was later pulled over on Southwest Archer Road near Gainesville.

Inside the stolen vehicle, officers discovered a firearm that was also reported stolen.

Lamb is no stranger to law enforcement. Records show he has prior arrests for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

He now faces grand theft charges, and officials confirmed that Lamb is currently being held at the Alachua County Jail on $800,000 bond.

The case remains under investigation.
