Fishkill, NY — Two people were arrested following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of narcotics and a loaded handgun in Fishkill, according to the New York State Police.
On October 15, members of the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit pulled over a vehicle on Route 9. Inside were 53-year-old Elizabeth Williams-Green of Poughkeepsie and 59-year-old Luvin Gory of Pleasant Valley.
A K9 unit alerted officers to possible narcotics inside the vehicle. During the search, police recovered a digital scale with cocaine residue, crack pipes, heroin, crack cocaine, and a loaded .380 caliber handgun.
Both Williams-Green and Gory face multiple felony charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The suspects were arraigned in the Town of Stanford Court and taken to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center. Williams-Green’s bail was set at $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond, or $100,000 partially secured bond, while Gory was held without bail.
They are scheduled to appear in Fishkill Town Court on October 22 at 4 p.m.
