HENDERSON, Nev. (Bullhead City Police) — Authorities in Nevada and Arizona have uncovered a major crime ring tied to the theft of over $1 million worth of drones in Henderson, leading to eight arrests last week. Police also revealed they are searching for one additional suspect connected to the thefts.

On Thursday, Henderson police arrested Eric Guy Loftin, 44, from Bullhead City, Arizona, on multiple charges, including grand larceny of more than $100,000, grand theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance. Loftin, who was booked into the Henderson Detention Center with a $58,000 bond, is scheduled for a court appearance on Tuesday.

The thefts, which occurred on March 4, involved around 600 drones valued at approximately $1.2 million. Police began investigating when Henderson police contacted Bullhead City authorities on March 13. During the investigation, Loftin’s Bullhead City residence was searched, leading to the recovery of multiple stolen items, including vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, and firearms.

Loftin is believed to live with his brother, Chad Loftin, 41, who remains at large and is wanted for suspected trafficking and possession of stolen property.

The investigation, which also uncovered a “trafficking stolen property ring,” led to five search warrants being executed across Mohave County on April 21, resulting in several more arrests. Those taken into custody include:

Jeffrey Loftin, 66, charged with possession of a stolen firearm, trafficking stolen property, and misconduct involving a weapon.

Randall Moore, 41, arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, trafficking stolen property, misconduct involving a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Amanda Kerekes, 37, charged with possession of a stolen firearm, trafficking stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael McIntosh, 48; Stephanie Williams, 32; Jeanna Kreamier, 37; and Anthony Wadley, 42, all arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

While some of the stolen drones have been recovered, a number remain missing. Further details on the origins of the drones or their final destination have not been disclosed.
