Eight Arrested for Murder of Boya Nadipi Rangadu in Kurnool

Dispute Between Relatives Led to Fatal Attack at Pulakurthi

by Ananya Mehta

In a tragic incident at Pulakurthi village, Kurnool district, eight persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of Boya Nadipi Rangadu. The attack took place on April 28, when Rangadu was assaulted with sticks by the accused at the Gudur bus stand. The assault led to his death.

According to the police, the motive behind the murder stemmed from a long-standing dispute between Rangadu’s nephew Suresh and the main accused, Boya Munuswami. The two had been at odds over minor issues since the previous year, often threatening each other. Tensions escalated recently after a clash at a village fair, ultimately culminating in the fatal attack.

The arrested individuals are being interrogated as part of the ongoing investigation.
