MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A Decatur man wanted on multiple outstanding warrants has been taken into custody, authorities confirmed Monday.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Eddie Reggie Sears, 33, was located and arrested by the Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit, with assistance from the Criminal Investigations Division.
List of Charges
Sears was wanted on six outstanding warrants, including:
Trafficking Methamphetamine / Possession of Marijuana (1st Degree) (Two Counts)
Breaking & Entering a Vehicle
Burglary (3rd Degree)
Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance
Non-Payment of Child Support
Jail Booking
Following his arrest, Sears was transported to the Morgan County Jail, where he remains in custody.
Authorities have not disclosed whether a bond has been set or if further charges may be filed.
