Eddie Ebarb, Ashlie Fluitt Arrested for Vehicle Theft in Grant Parish

Pair face multiple burglary and theft charges after investigation

GRANT PARISH, La. (KALB) — Two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with multiple vehicle thefts and burglaries in Grant Parish.

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office, Eddie Wayne Ebarb, 46, of Ball, and Ashlie Fluitt, 34, of Pollock, were taken into custody following an investigation into several reported thefts.

Both suspects are facing the following charges:

Three counts of theft of a motor vehicle

Burglary of a vehicle

Simple burglary

Criminal damage to property

Criminal trespassing

Theft over $1,000

The arrests follow a string of incidents involving stolen vehicles and property damage across the parish. Authorities have not yet released additional details about the investigation, but the case remains active.

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for assistance and emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
