LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announced multiple arrests on Monday, involving charges from drug offenses to firearm violations and domestic abuse.
Sheriff Sam Craft confirmed that Dylan Cade Leblue, 31, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon. He is currently being held in the Vernon Parish Jail with no bond set.
Tyrel Young, 44, of Evans, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic abuse battery. He also remains in custody without bond.
Courtney Marie Higginbotham, 40, of Leesville, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $11,561.
Ronnie Gene Dauzat, 50, of Hornbeck, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to pay probation-related fines and fees. He must either pay $2,125 or serve six months in the parish jail.
Authorities remind the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
