Dubbala Rakesh Arrested in Mumbai Rifle Theft Case

Elkapally brothers held for Navy Nagar rifle theft

The arrest of two brothers from Elkapally village in the Kumram Bheem Asifabad district by Mumbai Crime Branch police has left their hometown in disbelief. The incident, which took place late Tuesday night, is linked to the recent theft of a rifle from Navy Nagar in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

According to police sources, the suspects have been identified as Dubbala Rakesh (22), an Agniveer currently serving in Kerala, and his elder brother Umesh (25). Both hail from Elkapally village in Penchikalpet mandal.

The investigation into the rifle theft is ongoing, and their arrest has stirred concern and shock among villagers, as one of the accused is a serving defense personnel.
