DALLAS, TX — Dr. Lawrence Albert Bean, an emergency room physician in Dallas, has been arrested and charged with indecency with a child by sexual contact, a second-degree felony.
Bean, who practiced at Preston Hollow Emergency Room on Walnut Hill Lane, was taken into custody by Heath Police on June 16, 2025, and booked into the Rockwall County Jail. His bond was set at $25,000.
Following the arrest, the Texas Medical Board issued a temporary suspension of his medical license, citing that his continued practice “poses a continuing threat to public welfare.”
While Bean’s specialty is in emergency medicine, it remains unclear whether the alleged victim was a patient or otherwise connected to his medical practice. As of now, Heath Police have not released further details about the nature of the accusations.
Preston Hollow Emergency Room has not responded to media inquiries regarding the arrest.
The case remains under investigation.
