MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police have arrested 18-year-old Douglas Moore of Harrington following a string of motor vehicle theft incidents.
On May 20th, police responded to reports of two stolen vehicles and an attempted theft at Milford Movies 9. During the investigation, it was revealed that one of the stolen cars was set on fire after being taken.
Authorities identified Moore as a suspect and charged him with theft of a motor vehicle, attempted motor vehicle theft, second-degree conspiracy, and criminal mischief involving damages between $1,000 and $5,000. Moore was later released on an unsecured bail set at $7,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and the identity of the second suspect remains unknown. Milford Police continue to seek assistance from the public in locating additional suspects involved in the case.
