KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A theft of hundreds of dollars worth of Chiefs merchandise from a Kansas City grocery store has led to the arrest of Dorsey J. Johnson, 36, of Oak Grove.

According to Platte County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on February 10, Johnson has been charged in connection with stealing Chiefs gear from the Hy-Vee at 8301 N. St. Clair Ave. The theft occurred on October 7 when an employee reported that Johnson had taken 11 Chiefs light jackets and 11 Chiefs gray quarter-zip pullovers without paying. The stolen merchandise totaled nearly $1,375.
