BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A stolen 4-wheeler has been recovered and returned to its rightful owner after detectives in Iberville Parish made an arrest.

Dontrell Wesley, 26, of Plaquemine, was taken into custody after law enforcement officials received an anonymous tip that led them to the stolen ATV. The tip helped investigators connect Wesley to the crime, ultimately resulting in his arrest on charges of illegal possession of stolen things.

According to Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi, the investigation revealed that Wesley was linked to the stolen vehicle, which led to his arrest. Additionally, Wesley had an outstanding warrant for two counts of illegal possession of stolen things, adding further charges to his record.
