ATLANTA, GA – Authorities have arrested Dongha Lee, 18, a South Korean national, after he allegedly contacted Gwinnett County students on social media and attempted to meet them in person.

🔹 What Happened?
Lee was dropped off at the school, entered through a side door, and wandered the halls before staff intervened.
He had messaged students on Instagram, asking them to leave class to meet him.
School resource officers issued a criminal trespass warning, and he left in an Uber.
Arrest & Charges:
🔹 March 5, 2025 – Lee was arrested at a Flowery Branch residence.
🔹 Booked at Hall County Jail for a charge out of Gwinnett County and an immigration hold.
🔹 Charged with failure to check in at designated location upon entering school.
Additional Incidents:
On March 3, Lee allegedly tried to enroll at West Hall High School but was denied due to age and lack of proper documentation.
Lee later reported receiving threats after news coverage of the Seckinger High School incident.
Community Reactions & School Safety Concerns:
Parents and community members are questioning how Lee was able to enter the school. Gwinnett County Parents for Quality Education founder Holly Terei called for tighter security measures.
Lee remains in Hall County Jail pending further investigation.
