Monmouth County, New Jersey (WOIO) – A New Jersey man accused of killing 19-year-old Kyzair Robinson with his vehicle has been extradited back to New Jersey from Florida to face charges, authorities announced on March 21, 2025.
Dominic Allen, 23, of Millstone Township, was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and second-degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in connection with the February 11, 2025, incident. The event unfolded in Neptune Township, where officers responded to a 911 call around 4 p.m. regarding a person being struck by a vehicle near Stratford Avenue between Fisher and Myrtle Avenue.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found Robinson lying on the road with severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day, February 12.
The investigation revealed that Robinson had been talking to Allen through the driver’s side window before the incident. As Allen drove away, Robinson clung to the vehicle before falling underneath it as Allen continued fleeing.
Allen was apprehended by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force in Orlando, Florida, and was subsequently extradited back to New Jersey on March 19. He is now being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending future court proceedings.
