Diondre Young Arrested in Henderson Co. Drug Bust

Cocaine, Fentanyl, Xanax Found in Athens Apartment

ATHENS, TX — A man was arrested Wednesday evening in Henderson County after authorities discovered multiple illegal drugs during a raid on his Athens apartment.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant in the 200 block of West College Street, leading to the arrest of Diondre Antione Young.

Inside the apartment, officers found cocaine, fentanyl pills, Xanax pills, and marijuana. During the operation, Young allegedly resisted arrest, leading to a brief struggle before he was taken into custody.

He was transported to Henderson County Jail and charged with:

Possession of a controlled substance

Possession of marijuana

Resisting arrest

Young’s bond has been set at $31,500.

The case remains under investigation.
