Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have arrested a 43-year-old man wanted in a high-profile digital arrest fraud case after he was detained by immigration authorities at Mumbai International Airport.
The accused has been identified as Aludasu Sudhaker, who was intercepted based on a Look Out Circular (LOC) earlier issued by the Hyderabad police. Following his detention by immigration officials, Cyber Crime Police teams took him into custody.
Police officials said Sudhaker was allegedly involved in a digital fraud operation in which victims were coerced and deceived through online means. Further investigation is underway to uncover the full extent of the fraud network and identify other individuals involved.
Authorities stated that the arrest marks a significant step in cracking down on cyber-enabled financial crimes and warned citizens to remain vigilant against online fraud schemes.
