SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man is facing serious drug charges after being caught with cocaine while two infants were in the car during a traffic stop, police say.
According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), 30-year-old Devon Mccumber was pulled over during a routine traffic stop. Officers discovered he had nine ounces of cocaine in his possession. Two small babies were also found in the backseat of the vehicle at the time.
Authorities confirmed that Mccumber had active arrest warrants. He was taken into custody and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
Due to the presence of the children, Child Protective Services (CPS) was notified and is now investigating the incident.
