GRANT PARISH, La. (KALB) – Authorities have arrested a Baton Rouge woman, Derriclesha Dasha Lee, 30, after she allegedly attempted to smuggle marijuana into a federal prison in Grant Parish.
According to Sheriff Steven McCain, Lee was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and taking contraband into a penal institution.
This marks at least the 33rd arrest in 2025 connected to drug smuggling into the facility, highlighting ongoing concerns over security and contraband inside federal prisons.
