Windsor, Calif. — Windsor police have arrested 39-year-old Derrick Lamm in relation to a bank robbery that took place on Tuesday. Lamm is accused of robbing the Wells Fargo bank located at 8848 Lakewood Drive around 10:40 a.m.
According to authorities, Lamm entered the bank wearing a mask and hat, handed a note to the teller, and demanded cash. After the robbery, Lamm fled the scene on an electric scooter, but was later apprehended near 65 Shiloh Road, where his car was parked.
Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies discovered clothing linked to the suspect discarded on Los Amigos Road during their investigation.
In addition to the robbery charges, Lamm was found to have an outstanding warrant. Following a search of his apartment and vehicle, investigators found evidence connecting him to the Windsor robbery, as well as a separate bank robbery case in Santa Rosa. Authorities have not confirmed if Lamm will face additional charges related to the Santa Rosa robbery.
Lamm is currently being held without bail at the Sonoma County Jail on charges of robbery and the outstanding warrant.
