TELL CITY, Ind. (WFIE) — A Tell City man is in custody after being arrested on multiple child pornography and exploitation charges. Indiana State Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Derek S. Voges.
The investigation began in January after the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a cyber tip suggesting Voges may have been in possession of child pornography, including images and video files.
Following the tip, authorities obtained a search warrant last week. Voges was arrested Monday morning.
According to online court records, he now faces 12 felony charges—five counts of Child Exploitation, a Level 4 felony, and seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 5 felony.
The ICAC Task Force continues to urge Indiana residents to report any suspected online child exploitation or related crimes to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
