A 30-year-old woman from Delhi, Pavitra Tyagi, allegedly hired four individuals to steal her husband’s car for a financial gain. The car theft, orchestrated by Pavitra, led to her involvement in a criminal conspiracy with the arrested suspects, Akash Tyagi and Gaurav Sharma, both from Muzaffarnagar.

According to the Nandgram police, the car theft occurred on December 6, when Pavitra gave the car keys to the accused during a wedding at the JS Farmhouse in Morti village. The accused stole the vehicle, removed its registration plates, and transported it to Muzaffarnagar to evade identification.

The suspects took the car to Saharanpur the following day, where they made a duplicate key. They returned the original key to Pavitra, who placed it back in its original location to avoid suspicion from her husband, Nitin Tyagi.

While Pavitra and the other accomplices remain absconding, the police have arrested two suspects, Akash and Gaurav, and have recovered the stolen vehicle. Authorities are working to apprehend the remaining individuals involved in the conspiracy.
