Delhi Police Arrest Two Thieves for Rs 20 Lakh Gold Jewellery Theft

Delhi Police have arrested two men in connection with the theft of gold jewellery worth Rs 20 lakh. The accused, identified as Prakash Kumar (34) from Sangam Vihar, South Delhi and Rohit from Indra Camp, New Delhi, were apprehended after a complaint was filed at the C.R. Park Police Station.

The theft occurred on March 16, when the complainant, a resident of C.R. Park, reported that unknown individuals had entered his home and stolen his gold jewellery while he was away. The police registered an e-FIR under sections 305/331(3)/317(2)/3(5) B.N.S., and an investigation was launched promptly.

A special team, led by the SHO/C.R. Park and supervised by the ACP/C.R. Park, was formed to track down the culprits. The investigation led to the swift arrest of the two suspects, Prakash Kumar and Rohit, who are now in police custody.
