Three men were arrested in southwest Delhi with 170 grams of MDMA worth Rs85 lakh. The accused, identified as Mohammad Rahul (23), Mohammad Babul (31), and their associate SK Sabir (36), were apprehended by Delhi Police, who revealed that the gang had connections with foreign nationals.
According to Surendra Choudhary, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest), Sabir and Babul were actively involved in a well-organized drug trafficking network that operated under the guidance of notorious drug peddlers Aryan and Toni, who are currently incarcerated.
The gang’s modus operandi involved establishing a network of buyers, primarily targeting individuals seeking the psychoactive and stimulant effects of MDMA. To avoid detection, they used encrypted communication and coded language to carry out transactions discreetly.
The police are continuing their investigation into the international connections of the gang and are working to track down other individuals involved in the network.
