Delhi Police have arrested six individuals allegedly involved in drug peddling across the national capital. The accused were apprehended after the police found them in possession of 17.24 grams of smack, a two-wheeler, a car, and eight mobile phones.
This arrest is part of the Delhi Police’s ongoing comprehensive anti-drug campaign, which aims to eliminate drug-related crimes from the city. The operation targeted key areas and was conducted after thorough intelligence gathering and investigation.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Abhishek, Rajendra, Suraj, Monu, Ronit, and Abhay. According to DCP North West Bhisham Singh, the accused have a history of involvement in multiple heinous criminal activities. They were arrested on March 24, 2025.
The crackdown forms part of the Delhi Police’s efforts to combat the growing drug menace in the region. In the past year alone, the Delhi Police have arrested over 1,268 narco-offenders and seized approximately 71.1 kilograms of heroin and smack as part of their anti-drug initiatives.
