Delhi Police have arrested 50-year-old Sadaguru, also known as Badka Murmu, suspected of murdering a man in the Narela Industrial Area. The investigation, marked by a lack of eyewitnesses and immediate leads, ended successfully on July 26 with the arrest of the accused.
The case began on July 12 when 23-year-old Ballu from Uttar Pradesh was found bludgeoned near railway land in Bhorgarh village. Utilizing CCTV footage and informant tips, police tracked down Sadaguru, who confessed to killing Ballu with an iron rod during a heated argument.
Sadaguru has a criminal record involving kidnapping and theft and is known to use multiple aliases. He reportedly claims to be a divine messenger on a mission to cleanse the earth.
Police continue their investigation into the case.
