Delhi: The Delhi Police arrested Raushan Kumar (23) and Pintu Kumar (32) from Neb Sarai for a sophisticated ATM fraud involving trapping debit cards with glue and impersonating bank officials.

The duo allegedly executed over 50 fraud attempts across Delhi ATMs, duping victims by sticking glue or fevistick inside card slots to trap cards. They then displayed fake customer care numbers near the ATMs. When victims called, one accused impersonated a bank officer while the other memorized the entered PIN. After victims left, the suspects retrieved the cards and withdrew money using the PIN.

At least nine victims have been identified, with four FIRs filed and 22 potential victims contacted. One victim, Avtar Singh from Paschim Vihar, lost Rs35,000 on September 27 at a private bank ATM.

Raushan has no prior criminal record, while Pintu was linked to six earlier cases. Both are in custody, with investigations ongoing.
