The Delhi Police have successfully arrested four individuals involved in multiple cases of robbery and vehicle theft across the national capital. The arrests came after two back-to-back robberies were reported on April 26.
In the first incident, a grocery seller was robbed at knifepoint near Prem Aadhar Hospital by four bike-borne assailants. They fled with cash, a mobile phone, and grocery items. A similar robbery occurred later that morning in the Prashant Vihar area, where a tea vendor was targeted by four men who stole his wallet containing Rs 4,500 and important documents.
In response to the incidents, police formed specialized teams to investigate the cases. Over 200 CCTV footage from a 15 km radius were reviewed. As a result, the following suspects were arrested:
Shahib Alam (24)
Rahul Kapoor (26)
Shivam (24)
Simranjeet (22)
The arrested individuals have criminal records ranging from robbery to theft and cheating. Police recovered two stolen mobile phones, three stolen motorcycles (including two Royal Enfields), and two knives used in the crimes.
