CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. – A Morehead City man has been arrested for the second time in two weeks on drug-related charges in Craven County.
Delbert Lavelle Bivings was taken into custody on Monday, Sept. 22, after being pulled over on NC Highway 101 in the Harlowe area. During the stop, K-9 Tia with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office alerted deputies to the presence of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle.
As a result, Bivings was charged with the following offenses:
Felony trafficking methamphetamine by possession
Felony trafficking methamphetamine by transportation
Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance
Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule VI controlled substance
