LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. — A joint investigation by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department and the Meridian Police Department led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of a stolen utility vehicle on Wednesday morning.
Deputies and investigators responded around 10:00 a.m. to a residence on the 5400 block of Mini Farm Road, where they located a John Deere UTV previously reported stolen to Meridian Police earlier this week.
Two people were arrested during the operation:
Dekevia Hull, 25, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine. His bond was set at $75,000.
Samantha Owen was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Her bond was set at $35,000.
Authorities say the investigation is still active, and more charges may be forthcoming as they continue gathering evidence.
