LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Dejuana Fife, 60, from Riverdale, Georgia, was arrested on Saturday after allegedly impersonating a peace officer and resisting arrest at a Louisville news station.

Police responded to a call at WHAS-TV near West Chestnut, where a woman demanded entry to the building. Officers report that Fife identified herself as the chief of police for the Louisville Metro Police Department and also claimed to be the FBI chief.

Despite being informed by police that impersonating an officer is a crime, Fife continued to assert her false identity but refused to provide credentials. She then resisted arrest before being taken into custody.

Fife faces charges of impersonating a peace officer and resisting arrest. Her bond was set at $5,000 cash, and she is ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation with no contact allowed with WHAS-TV. She is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on June 10.
